Care That Feels Like Home

Thoughtfully Designed Home-Based Living

This is senior care the way it should feel.

Most senior care happens in large buildings with rotating staff, long hallways, and little personal connection.
Goshen Senior Care is the opposite. We provide care in a real home — warm, calm, familiar, and deeply personal.
Your loved one lives in a peaceful house within a neighborhood, supported by caregivers who know them, understand them, and genuinely care.

1. A Real Home in a Real Neighborhood

Your loved one lives in a peaceful neighborhood home — not a facility.Think morning sunlight in a quiet kitchen, coffee on the front porch, and friendly waves from passing neighbors. It feels like life, not long hallways and rotating staff.

2. Caregivers Who Truly Know Them

With only a few residents, caregivers stay consistent and build real relationships. They learn routines, preferences, and stories — creating care that feels personal, steady, and familiar.Your loved one is seen, understood, and cared for by people who genuinely know them.

3. Calm, Familiar Daily Living

Here, each day feels natural and comforting — shared meals, slow mornings, familiar spaces, and peaceful routines.Your loved one isn’t rushed or overlooked; they live in a rhythm that feels safe and predictable. It’s senior living that feels like home.

Goshen is growing, but we’re committed to expanding only when we can maintain the deeply personal standard of care that makes our homes special.Because of that, we don’t set fixed opening dates for new homes. We open them only when we know we can offer the same level of warmth, consistency, and attention. If you may be interested now or in the future, we’d love to connect. Joining our list ensures you’ll be the first to know when new homes become available. Please note that we are located in the Harrisonburg, Virginia area.

Our Founder

Abraham Leyian Kariuki Kamau, MSW, QMHP, ALF Admin, is the founder of Goshen Homes and a senior-care focused social work professional. At the heart of Goshen Homes is Abraham's belief in small-home, small-census senior care — a setting where residents are truly known, not just managed. By keeping the census intentionally small, Goshen Homes provides more direct, personalized attention, stronger routines, and closer communication with families, creating a calm, consistent environment where dignity, safety, and independence are protected every day.
